ACLT Structure

 

Membership of Angmering Community Land Trust is open to people who live or work in the area, primarily in the Parish of Angmering.

 

Registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) the Angmering Community Land Trust is a community-led organisation managed by volunteers with support from professionals where specific skills or expertise is required.

 

Because we are a community organisation, our Membership and our Board are also from the community. All registered members can participate in the election of the Board of the Community Land Trust.

 

The Board shall consist of between 5 and 12 members and will direct the activities of the Trust in accordance with its objects and rules. Board members are elected for a period of three years.

 

All those that live and work in Angmering and support the aims of the Community Land Trust are invited to become members.

 

ACLT Governance

Cooperative and Community Benefit Societies must operate within a national framework of rules and regulations but are encouraged to develop local policies which help to ensure the smooth functioning of the organisation. The local governance policies of ACLT once approved will be published on this page.

Angmering Community Land Trust Board

 

The current inaugural board includes people with many skills and now that the project has been put together, there will be chance to volunteer for and elect a board to implement the first and additional schemes. The board currently consists of:
